About the role

The People Success Partner provides effective HR operational services and advice to assigned business leaders to support the delivery of Equip’s organizational objectives and outcomes. The People Success Partner helps facilitate day-to-day People operations, provides guidance to leaders on common employee relations and performance topics, and supports the implementation of People programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to front line leaders with regular People needs including, but not limited to, onboarding support, employee relations issues, performance issues, policy interpretation, and career development. .

  • Support effective and efficient resolution of routine employee relations or performance issues following best practices.

  • Conduct initial intake and documentation for employee relations or performance issues and escalate more complex issues as appropriate.

  • Partner with People Operations and People leadership to ensure adherence to internal policies and employment regulations.

  • Support the execution of cyclical programs including engagement surveys and performance reviews.

  • Develop and collect relevant People data and reporting to support the analysis of trends and inform decision-making.

  • Contribute to special projects that enhance the employee experience or People team operations.

  • Continuously build an understanding of Equip’s business goals, teams and culture to effectively support employees and leaders.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience serving as an HR Business Partner.

  • Demonstrated experience resolving routine employee relations issues.

  • Foundational understanding of HR best practices, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance.

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with an ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to to meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Proficient with Google Suite products and comfortable learning new systems.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Physical Demands

Work is performed 100% from home with requirement to travel once or twice a year for in-person meetings. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
