Equip’s five-person care teams include dietitians, physicians, therapists, and mentors who deliver wrap-around support to provide families healing and lasting recovery.

About the role:

  • As Equip’s Licensing Specialist you will work closely with the clinical operations team to support Equip’s provider licensing operations. With an eye for organization and detail, you will ensure provider license applications are executed correctly and in a timely manner and monitor Equip’s licensing strategy.
  • The best candidate for this position will have experience in healthcare licensing and credentialing, maintaining database systems, and have a passion for service-oriented work.
  • Your background will include experience in healthcare, administrative functions, and knowledge of provider/clinical licenses (e.g. MD, DO, PA, LPC, etc.)
  • Above all, you are someone who is motivated by the ultimate goal of expanding access to high quality, evidence-based treatments for eating disorders so that everyone can achieve lasting recovery.

Duties include:

  • Submitting license requests and applications on behalf of employed providers
  • Overseeing licensure renewals and CEU requirements and communicating these requirements with respective providers
  • Tracking toward company and department-level KPIs focused on license applications submitted, approved, and issued
  • Supporting providers with CPA requests, notary, and fingerprint needs

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree OR
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare credentialing function
  • 1-3 years healthcare administration experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic or ambulatory services setting
  • Ability to manage the licensing status of numerous providers across multiple disciplines
  • Strong skills in communication and collaboration with diverse teams
  • Organized and results-driven
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, subject to rapid change and innovation
  • Bonus if you have the following:
  • Experience with licensing in a telehealth setting
  • Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment through insurance
