Position Review:
The Global Immigration Manager is responsible for managing the country/regional immigration team. This role requires a high level of experience in people management, client communication, case and internal process implementation..
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as the lead for the country/region
- Advise immigration rules to news team and support any adhoc reporting
- Advise strategy for complex cases
- Serves as point of escalation
- Organise and plan OOO cover
- Attend and participate in client calls as needed
- Work closely with AM Pods for any client matters
- Communicate with immigration authorities to clarify guidance notes/request application update and/or escalate applications when immigration authorities fails to meet its processing standard/withdraw applications and/or request refund of government fees
- Manage team’s continuing professional development and assessing training requirements
- Review case assessments and initiations to ensure optimal caseload
- Work closely with the leadership team on regional structure and resourcing
Position Requirement:
- Ability to interact and communicate clearly and effectively

- Excellent time management, and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Capacity to prioritise, manage and execute multiple tasks
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Oral and written proficiency in English
- Knowledge of other languages is desirable but not essential

Education / Qualification:
- Minimum 5+ years of immigration experience;
- Minimum 2+ years of immigration team lead experience;
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience;
