This role will work both for Enigma and Enigma's sister product, Cipher.

What’s the role?
We’re looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial Product Designer to join our early-stage startup to help us quickly scale our product.

You will

  • Establish the design function within the company, including setting up design tools, processes, and workflows that align with best practices and industry standards
  • Collaborate closely with the Founder & CEO, Head of Operations, and engineers to understand business goals, user needs, and technical requirements to drive product design decisions
  • Lead the end-to-end design process, from ideation and wireframing to prototyping and implementation, ensuring a seamless and user-centric product experience
  • Iterate on and maintain a comprehensive design system and style guide that promotes design consistency and scalability across all products
  • Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions to stakeholders
  • Advocate for design thinking and user-centered design methodologies, fostering a culture of design excellence within the company
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to the table

You have

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer, preferably with experience in a startup or early-stage company
  • Proven track record of establishing design processes and workflows, setting up design tools, and implementing design systems from scratch
  • Expert level proficiency in Figma
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking, and usability best practices
  • Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to inform design decisions
  • Solid understanding of frontend development technologies and their impact on design feasibility
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented, and able to think outside the box to solve complex design challenges
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
