Reporting to the Head of People, US this role sits on the People Operations team.
In this role you will
We’re looking for a sharp, resourceful, and proactive People & Culture Associate to join our growing team. In this in-office role, you’ll wear multiple hats: owning office management, driving employee experience, and supporting local and remote engagement programs. You’ll be the go-to person for all things office-related, while also playing a hands-on role in employee experience, culture-building activities, and administrative HR tasks.
This is a unique opportunity for someone early in their career who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and is excited to take ownership of core workplace operations and people coordination on a global, remote team.
Office Management
- Own day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth, functional, and welcoming workspace for the Empathy team and their visitors
- Liaise with the building and office vendors (cleaning, supply, building management, etc.)
- Manage office supply inventory, equipment orders, catering, deliveries, mail and shipping.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety protocols and facilities policies.
- Partner with People, IT, Finance and Operations teams to ensure smooth and consistent experience across time zones
Employee Experience
- Create and run remote team moments that actually feel meaningful—from virtual events to global hang outs — help our people feel connected, included, and part of something real across time zones.
- Support with onboarding logistics, welcoming new team members and walking them through their day one experience
- Organize birthday and anniversary celebrations
- Use your problem solving skills to troubleshoot technical needs with remote and local team members.
- Manage our swag stock for employees and special events.
- Assist with team communications, surveys, and company-wide culture initiatives.
- Support administrative HR functions as needed.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in working in an administrative role in a fast paced environment.
- Strong, approachable communicator with stellar judgement.
- Totally comfortable when things aren’t fully spelled out.
- You see around the corners, jumping in before anything falls through the cracks.
- Strong self organizational and multitasking skills with sharp attention to detail.
- You are a connector! Building community and rallying engagement across local and remote teams.

- Competitive salary and benefits
The salary for this position ranges between $60,000 - $70,000. This is decided based on many factors, including but not limited to: skills, qualifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, we are proud to offer stock options in the company and a competitive benefits package.
