👷🏻‍♀️ What we do 👷🏻‍♀️

At Emidat, we are building the first climate-native product management system for building material manufacturers. We aim to decarbonise building materials, making up 11% of global GHG emissions. We collect data from physical production processes, generate a digital product passport with verified environmental data and make it usable along the value chain. In short: One solution to assess, design, buy, sell and manage products - with environmental impact at the core.

With this, we are building the digital infrastructure to make it faster, easier, and more sustainable to build the world around us.

What you will work on

Your mission

Ensure our customers succeed in their product lifecycle assessment (LCA) projects. Be the critical link between our pioneering climate technology and our customers' outcomes.

The Climate Success Manager role offers a unique dual mandate:

  1. Technical Climate Expert: You will dive deep into the technical details of Product Lifecycle Assessments (LCA), mastering the environmental impact calculations for real-world products like glass, steel, and heat pumps. This is a role for those who thrive on complex problem-solving.

  2. Customer Success Architect: You will be the trusted partner who ensures our customers not only achieve their LCA goals but become long-term advocates. Our benchmark for success is uncompromising: a continued NPS >9 and 0% customer churn.

You will spend 70% of your time in an operative capacity, directly enabling customer success. Crucially, the remaining 30% is dedicated to building and scaling: collaborating closely with our Product and Engineering teams to automate our processes, establishing new team standards, and ultimately shaping the future of the Customer Success function.

Joining our Climate Success team means taking on strategic responsibility across four key pillars:

  • Forge Deep Customer Relationships: Build and nurture enduring customer relationships from initial onboarding through regular strategic check-ins. You will be the primary problem-solver, working collaboratively with our LCA, Product, and Tech teams to ensure immediate, impactful solutions.

  • Drive Strategic Efficiency & Automation: Play a foundational role in building the "CS Engine." You will develop and fine-tune our customer success strategy, test AI tooling, and implement processes designed for hyper-growth. Your ultimate goal: enabling an industry-leading response time and scaling our capacity to one CS Manager per 250 customers.

  • Unlock Customer Expansion: Act as a Growth Channel by proactively identifying and solving related challenges for our existing customers. You will partner with Account Executives to organically expand contracts, turning satisfaction into sustained value.

What you should bring to this role

Minimum qualifications:

  • Customer-Centric Experience: A proven track record (3+ years) in customer-facing roles (Customer Success, Onboarding, or Support) where you were responsible for driving product adoption, retention, and tangible value for external clients.

  • Language: Business-fluent proficiency in English and Italian (C1+ level).

  • Project & Ownership Mindset: Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project ownership, taking initiatives from conception through to successful completion and measurable outcomes.

  • Strategic Data Proficiency: Ability to work with data to extract meaningful insights, inform strategic advice to customers and internal stakeholders, and drive critical business outcomes through analysis.

Nice to Have's

  • European Language Skills: Business fluency in an additional European language (e.g., Spanish, French, Dutch, or a Nordic language) to support our growing customer base across Europe.

  • LCA & Manufacturing Expertise: Deep familiarity with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies and/or industrial manufacturing processes. Coming with this expertise will significantly accelerate your ability to serve as a technical expert for our clients.
