Position Overview:
The Salesforce.com Administrator and Sales Tools Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce CRM platform and integrated tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality, experience with common Salesforce integrations, and the ability to configure lead automation tools, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions, and user hierarchies. This role will work closely with various departments to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Administration:
- Perform daily administration and support of Salesforce CRM, including user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and validations.
- Manage Salesforce security including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups.
- Maintain and customize Salesforce to fit the company’s needs and goals.
Integration Management:
- Understand and manage common Salesforce integrations with other tools and platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
- Configure and maintain lead automation tools and integrations to optimize lead generation and management processes.
Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ):
- Implement and maintain Salesforce CPQ solutions to streamline and automate the quote-to-cash process.
- Customize CPQ functionalities to meet the specific needs of the sales team, including pricing rules, discount structures, and approval workflows.
Sales, Commissions, Marketing Tools support
- Support sales and marketing tools including lead automation within Salesforce and lead object, data integrations such as Agile and GovSpend
- Support SalesLoft integration
- Support Commissions integration with Salesforce
- Support Hubspot integration
User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to Salesforce users and troubleshoot system issues as they arise.
- Conduct training sessions and create training materials to enhance user understanding and adoption of Salesforce features and best practices.
Data Management:
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data audits, merging duplicate records, and managing data imports/exports.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for various departments.
Process Improvement:
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements to Salesforce processes, workflows, and user interfaces to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Salesforce Administrator certification required; Advanced Administrator, CPQ Specialist, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Total experience of 5+ years. Relevant 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, functionalities, and limitations.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and automation tools (e.g., Pardot, Marketo, Zapier).
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ or similar quoting tools.
- Proficiency in data management and reporting within Salesforce. Understanding of data quality best practices and duplicate management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
