IT Support Manager

Elevate K-12 is a Series C funded, rapid growth stage start-up focused on solving the crisis-level teacher shortage in US K-12 schools changing the way classrooms work live, virtual instruction that gives students access to high quality, certified teachers who help them prepare for the world of the future! For our teacher community, we open new work opportunities proprietary platform and curriculum, enabling them to deliver live remote instruction across multiple subjects in elementary, middle, and high schools across the US. Our goal is to enable high quality live teaching for every learner in the U.S., from kindergarten through their first jobs, so they can receive the education they need to identify and pursue their unique passions in life. Purpose/Role:

Provide remote support and management of IT systems (ex. O365, Intune, Exchange, Sharepoint, Onedrive), assets (ex. laptops, printers, Wi-Fi, conferencing equipment) and desktop software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to user support requests and general IT Support tickets.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional.
  • Onboarding new users and assisting with initial set up of systems.
  • Managing new hardware deployments.
  • Support escalations from other technical resources.

Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting US-based employees, including c-suite.
  • Experience with current Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience in backing up and restoring end user data.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft desktop software including Outlook, Teams, and Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Onboarding/Offboarding users in a Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Basic experience with Office 365 administration, Exchange mailbox management, Calendar management and basic Powershell scripting skills.
  • Experience with device management leveraging Microsoft Intune or other similar management software.
  • Experience with maintaining and creating end user & technical documentation.
  • Work schedule will be US business hours.
