Master QC Technician (US)

The Mastering department has been a fundamental part of EIKON’s growth and success, and we need dedicated, driven and enthusiastic individuals to ensure our success continues. Main duties:

• Review and reporting of client supplied media files, including but not limited to: High level IMF content, ProRes media files, ProTools media files, etc.
• Engaging with client structured reporting ecosystems; such as the Netflix Branded QC Platform.
• Discussions with both internal Eikon Account Management teams, as well as some engagements with client designated personnel as warranted by specific projects
• Assisting with or fully handling complex and/or time sensitive tasks

Skills and Attributes

• Utilization of multiple Media review applications, i.e. DaVinci Resolve, Avid ProTools, Cinecert’s Clipster, Colorfront’s Transkoder, Vantage, etc.
• Understanding of Media and Entertainment Project Management systems (Xytech, Smart Sheets, Fabric, etc.)
• Knowledge of Industry Standards and Specifications (SMPTE, EBU, etc.)
• Critical thinking and problem-solving

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years within the Media and Entertainment field, specifically in the ASSET QC and MASTER QC process
• Thorough understanding of NLE ecosystems (such as DaVinci Resolve, AVID Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere, etc.)
• Valid right to work in the US

Working Hours​

• Shift Hours: 4pm to 1am
• Shift Days: Tuesday through Sunday
