EIKON Group (www.eikon.group) is a global leader in digital mastering and localisation for the global entertainment industry, with operational centres in London, Los Angeles and Sydney. EIKON’s core offering is a technology and creative service hub for mastering, QC, versioning and content localisation for the feature film, episodic and trailer market, including editorial, visual effects, subtitling and censorship.

EIKON, in partnership with Qube, has been transforming the way content is delivered to cinemas across Australia and New Zealand. We’ve built the largest and most advanced electronic delivery network in the region, delivering premium content and marketing materials to Cinemas. This partnership complements Qube’s extensive global electronic distribution footprint with EIKON’s in-country customer service team overseeing the entire end-to-end service.

To help manage the cinema delivery service, EIKON Group is recruiting an Account Manager position in Sydney and is looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and passionate person, who wants to be the best at what they do. The role of Account Manager within EIKON is ultimately responsible for the production management, servicing, revenue and strategic growth of designated clients within the company. Your main and broad responsibilities with EIKON will involve project management in the digital delivery of feature, episodic, and trailer content for Hollywood studios and other EIKON clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and maintain relationships with Film Distribution partners and act as the primary escalation point for clients.
  • Supervise the end-to-end ordering and delivery service for all Qube-EIKON clients across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, proactively ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Work with stakeholders in the supply chain to continuously improve and hone the service, maximising efficiency in both time and cost
  • Support on-boarding and rate card management with new clients.
  • Process and create monthly billing reports on each client per individual rate cards and liaise with accounts team (UK) to ensure invoices are despatched immediately after month end.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Exhibitors.
  • Act as a communication point to onboard new Exhibitors to the Qube-EIKON network.
  • Act as technical liaison for cinema sites to provide prompt and responsive service with any issues that may be encountered by installed cinema sites.
  • Assist in promoting and marketing the QEDS network to industry stakeholders .
  • Participate in weekly calls and be an active communicator into the Qube organisation to help promote EIKON’s value to the partnership and ensure ongoing goodwill.
  • Be a global team member: establish and maintain relationships with EIKON personnel around the world, specifically in LA.
  • Add value to the global Account Management team via liaison with in-region APAC clients.
  • Build value with the LA team by actively ‘pulling down’ and increasingly adding to your knowledge and capability to continually support Netflix in Australian afternoon hours
  • To be successful, you will need to be across all services and systems used across the EIKON Group, including Trak, Skreen, Subtitling, packaging/mastering and delivery – so continually seek to learn and get trained and take opportunities to maximise your knowledge and input

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2/3 years’ experience in a post-production role, digital cinema and foreign versioning experience is preferred
  • Team player with interpersonal skills who also has the ability to work on own initiative
  • Professional, positive and pro-active approach
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. A highly diligent approach to work is essential
  • Tight organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication, written and verbal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and sensitive information
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage workload both personally and for your team
  • Flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment
  • Willing and able to troubleshoot complex problems and suggest solutions
  • Strong IT literacy

SALARY

$75,000.00 per annum + Super

WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION

Hybrid working model with flexibility to suit successful candidate.

Working hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, however the candidate should be willing to work outside of these hours based on business requirements.
