Position

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate 1 to play a pivotal role in our operations by ensuring the efficient and organized management of materials and supplies. This position is essential in supporting our high-growth biotech company.

About You

The ideal candidate possesses keen attention to detail and accuracy, this candidate adeptly receives, inspects, and verifies incoming materials, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and organization within the warehouse. Proficient in safely operating warehouse equipment and familiar with inventory management systems, the ideal candidate collaborates effectively with the shipping team, adheres to safety guidelines, and demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively make this candidate an integral part of the warehouse team, contributing to the overall efficiency of material handling processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Receive, inspect, and verify the accuracy of incoming materials and supplies.
  • Safely transport materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials in designated locations.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment based on established procedures.
  • Collaborate with the shipping team to schedule and coordinate deliveries.
  • Maintain shipping and receiving records, including packing lists and delivery receipts.
  • Follow established protocols for handling materials to maintain product quality and integrity.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements related to material handling.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues for prompt repair.
  • Ensure that all equipment is used safely and properly.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, including material transfer forms and inventory records.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or irregularities in materials or inventory.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to provide input for process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience is required. Bachelor’s degree is nice to have.
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and documentation.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or software is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines.

The expected salary range for this role is $25/hour to $27.41/hour depending on skills, competency, and the market demand for your expertise.
