Junior Level Designer, Localisation (UK)

At EIKON we specialise in the localisation and finishing of premium film and television content for global audiences. Working with the world’s leading studios and production companies, our team recreates title sequences, narrative inserts and visual effects so seamlessly that audiences never realise they have been adapted for another language or market.

Our artists combine technical precision with a strong sense of design and typography, ensuring every version remains true to the creative intent of the original production.

We are looking for a talented Designer to join our London team. If you have a passion for film and television, a strong eye for detail and enjoy solving creative and technical challenges, we would love to hear from you.

The Work

The work created by our team appears in major theatrical releases, trailers, broadcast programmes and streaming originals seen by audiences around the world.

Projects involve recreating typography and graphic design across multiple languages while maintaining the exact look, timing and feel of the original production. This requires a high level of attention to detail and an understanding of how design integrates within a post-production and visual effects pipeline.

You’ll be working closely with producers, account managers and artists in a collaborative studio environment where precision and consistency are essential.

  • Prepare and design artwork primarily using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Assist in rebuilding title sequences, narrative inserts and on-screen graphics across multiple languages
  • Maintain visual consistency with the original design while adapting layouts for new text and languages
  • Prepare layered artwork and assets for use in motion graphics and compositing workflows
  • Support the motion design team with artwork preparation and updates
  • Work with high-resolution theatrical and broadcast formats
  • Manage shots and deliveries through internal production systems
  • Collaborate with producers and senior artists to ensure creative and technical requirements are met
  • Contribute to an organised and efficient production workflow

  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
  • Interest in motion graphics, film titles and visual effects workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to closely match existing designs
  • Ability to follow direction and work methodically so changes can be implemented efficiently
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Positive, collaborative approach to working within a team
  • Passion for film, television and visual storytelling

Software

  • Adobe Illustrator

Additional experience with the following would be advantageous:

  • Adobe After Effects
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Basic knowledge of 3D software
