Supervisor Theatrical Operations (US)

Why We Need You

The role of Supervisor Theatrical Operations is extremely important at EIKON. This role will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day delivery of projects within the Theatrical eco-space, confirm and coordinate the appropriate resource allocation to projects, liase with the Account Management teams, some lite employee administration, and help troubleshoot specific Digital Cinema challenges.

In this role you will work closely with the SVP of Mastering Operations, the Manager of the Operations team, as well as multiple Account Management personnel.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the SVP of Mastering, various Managers, Supervisors, and Mastering Heads to manage the transition of work through the building on a day-to-day basis.
  • Taking charge of complex and/or time sensitive tasks
  • Assisting in the training of shift members so that they are fully trained in all relevant tasks relating to Mastering and Content Services

Strategy and Technical Development:

  • Keep up to date with industry developments, tools and techniques
  • UAT (evaluations) for quality control toolsets; hardware and software revisions – documenting reports
  • Develop skills and knowledge in other disciplines to enhance overall understanding of industry practices. Including, but not limited to, streaming, broadcast, and post-production processes and services, commonly used software etc
  • Mange and create training materials to be used to help develop both new and experienced members of the mastering team
  • Work with the SVP of Mastering and the Manager of the Mastering Operations to develop training methods and ensure they are being carried out and applied across mastering and QC.
  • Help coordinate certain Employee processes (like Time Sheet coordination, schedules, error reporting, etc.)
  • Represent EIKON at internal high-profile client screenings to ensure the customer gets the best quality experience when visiting the facility

Project Planning, Maintenance and Delivery:

  • Work with the SVP of Mastering and other mastering heads in project planning, scheduling and recognising capacity crunch points.
  • An important contact for AM, for any technical queries, both internal and external
  • Completion of ad-hoc project work as specified by your manager
  • Willingness and capability to troubleshoot complex problems
  • Project tracking and delivery through our in-house systems
  • Ensure that work is delivered to EIKON's global standards, on time with quality and precision at scale

Valid right to work in the US

Working Hours

10am to 7pm (with a one hour lunch)
