About the Role
Eightfold's most strategic customers are among the largest and most complex enterprises in the world. The Managing Client Partner owns these relationships end to end the executive relationship, the account strategy, and the commercial growth across a concentrated portfolio of our most important accounts.
This is a partner-level role for a relationship leader who has spent a career earning trust at the most senior levels of large organizations, and who can turn that trust into lasting, mutual growth. You won't work alone — you'll lead an extended account team, orchestrating everyone around a single account strategy that you own.
Eightfold is the AI-native talent intelligence platform, and we are in the middle of a defining shift from a SaaS platform company to an agent-first partner helping the world's largest enterprises transform how work gets done.
This role is where that partnership is delivered at our most important accounts: the person who sits with the customer's senior leadership, owns the joint roadmap, and is accountable for the value realized and the growth that follows.
Responsibilities
Executive relationships. Build and hold trusted, peer-level relationships across the C-suite and their leadership teams, anchored in the customer's strategy and priorities.
Account strategy. Own a single, high-quality account plan for each customer: where they are going, where Eightfold creates value, and the multi-year path to get there.
Commercial growth. Own the commercial health of your accounts — retention and multi-year expansion — and lead all senior negotiations and renewals to a successful close.
Orchestration. Lead the extended account team around your strategy, bringing the right people and resources to the customer at the right moment.
Value realization. Run executive business reviews on a disciplined cadence. Define success with the customer in measurable terms and hold both sides accountable to it.
Trusted advisor. Be the person the customer's leadership calls first — the partner who understands their business and consistently brings them Eightfold's best thinking.
The Portfolio
A concentrated portfolio of a small number of Eightfold's largest and most strategically important customers. This is depth over breadth of a handful of very large, very complex relationships that deserve full ownership.
Who You Are
Relationship excellence, at the executive level. You have built your career on trusted, peer-level relationships with senior client leaders. You treat relationship excellence as a discipline, not a personality trait.
A consulting or professional-services pedigree. 15+ years as a client partner, engagement partner, account lead, principal, or similar — someone who has owned both the client relationship and the commercial outcome for large, complex enterprises.
Commercially sharp. You have carried and delivered against a number of revenue, expansion, retention, or P&L and you know how to grow an account without ever making the customer feel sold to.
Transformation fluency. You have led or advised enterprise change and transformation programs, and you can hold a strategy conversation about a customer's business.
An orchestrator. You lead cross-functional teams and drive outcomes without direct authority.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
15+ years of experience across enterprise consulting, professional services, strategic account management, enterprise sales, or executive HR / talent leadership including significant time owning senior client relationships.
A track record of owning and growing large, complex enterprise or Global 2000 accounts.
Commercial accountability you have carried and delivered against a revenue, expansion, retention, or P&L target.
Proven ability to build and sustain trusted relationships at the C-suite and executive level.
Experience leading or advising enterprise transformation or change programs.
Experience orchestrating cross-functional teams sales, delivery, and customer success without direct authority.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as the relationship requires.
Preferred Qualifications:
Partner experience at a leading consulting or professional-services firm.
Domain depth in talent, HR, or workforce transformation.
Familiarity with AI, enterprise SaaS, or talent-intelligence platforms.
MBA or advanced degree.
