The Opportunity
AI has collapsed the cost of building software. Every enterprise is about to become a builder of its own workforce systems. TalentForge is Eightfold’s answer: a new business built on the deepest talent intelligence platform in the industry — a skills graph, APIs, MCPs, and enterprise-grade governance forged over a decade at Fortune 100 scale — so customers can design, build, and run AI-native workforce applications on it.
The Mandate
This is a Managing Partner role in the truest sense. You build the practice, carry the client relationships, and run the business — accountable for revenue, margin quality, and customer outcomes. The discipline that sets TalentForge apart from the firms you’re coming from: every engagement compounds into platform, patterns, and recurring software revenue, not billable hours.
What You’ll Own
- Client leadership. Lead the founding design-partner relationships as trusted advisor to their CHROs and transformation leaders. Open doors, shape board- and executive-level agendas, and be the person clients call first.
- Go-to-market. Execute the Lab-first campaign across the top 50 accounts — founding design partners first — routing each into the motion it’s ready for. Partner with Customer Growth and account leadership on expansion. Carry the number.
- The team. Build and lead a team of commercial transformation consultants, plus a shared pool of platform engineers. Set the talent bar, the operating cadence, and a culture where field delivery feeds product.
- Pattern harvest and productization. Enforce the discipline that makes this a platform business: every engagement is harvested into reusable patterns, templates, and platform capability. You’ll be measured on template reuse, falling time-to-ship, and consumption share of revenue — not billable hours.
- Partner ecosystem. Build the co-delivery model with Deloitte and future SI partners so delivery scales beyond your own headcount while platform revenue accrues to Eightfold. Own rules of engagement, enablement, and partner economics.
- Category and the room. Represent TalentForge with the CEO, board, analysts, and customer executives. Shape the AI Workforce Transformation category narrative as its most credible public voice, alongside the CGO.
Who You Are
- A senior leader — Partner, Managing Director, or equivalent — from a top-tier consulting or human capital practice (McKinsey, Deloitte Human Capital, BCG, or peer), or a commercial leader from Palantir’s forward-deployed world. 15+ years, with scars from both selling and delivering transformation.
- Deep human capital domain authority in workforce strategy, talent, and org transformation — credible enough to advise a Chief People Officer as a peer, and to challenge them when it matters.
- A proven rainmaker and practice builder: you’ve originated and grown eight-figure client portfolios, built a practice from a standing start, and developed the team beneath you into partners.
- Commercially fluent beyond the consulting model — you understand, or are hungry to master, consumption pricing, platform economics, and keeping services in service of software.
- Equally credible with CHROs and technologists: able to hold a workforce transformation conversation and an AI architecture conversation in the same meeting, with the humility to bring in your AI experts as equals.
- Experienced leading small, elite teams — transformation consultants, forward-deployed engineers, solution architects — and resistant to the pull of customization creep and hourly-billing habits.
- A category thinker with executive presence: comfortable in board settings, sharp in writing, able to make a market believe something new.
- A plus: experience with HR technology or talent intelligence platforms, and with regulated, governance-heavy environments (security, responsible AI, compliance).
Why This Role
For a Partner at a great firm, the ceiling is the leverage model — impact scales with headcount. TalentForge breaks that ceiling. Your client craft compounds into platform IP, your engagements become products, and your practice grows into a software business — backed by a decade of talent intelligence, live Fortune 100 proof points, an installed base that is itself the pipeline, and funding to build from the first ten people. You report to the Chief Growth Officer, operate with the CEO and board, and own the outcome.
