The Role
Sleep is inherently tied to health, and we have an immense opportunity to leverage our Pod platform to detect medical conditions and to provide therapy. We are looking for a Director of Medical Products to build a business around this opportunity. This role will build a medical business from the ground up, including navigating regulatory and reimbursement pathways, as well as interfacing with payers. This role will interact closely with R&D, the executive team, and the CEO. Your work will improve the lives of numerous users and will enable our core mission of improving sleep and saving lives.

This role is based out of our offices in San Francisco, Boston, or New York.

How You’ll Contribute

• Build a medical business from 0 to 1

• Strategically navigate regulatory & reimbursement pathways

• Rapidly prototype and test business ideas

• Manage a cross-functional program involving R&D, Engineering, Regulatory, and Quality

• Coordinate with engineering teams to commercialize hardware and software products

What You Need to Succeed

• 6+ years of industry experience in medical devices (hardware or SaMD)

• Successful track record of FDA clearance (510k, De Novo)

• Successfully launched a reimbursable medical device

• Exemplary at cross-functional program management

• Experience with product development

• Experience building a world class team

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or equivalent experience
