Role Overview

Eeki is seeking a Nursery Development Executive for Nursery Operations who will be responsible for promoting disease-free, healthy nursery saplings among farmers, building partnerships with seed companies and maximizing sales opportunities. The role includes lead generation, aligning sapling orders with the growing and operations team, and ensuring the seamless delivery of quality products. The executive will also manage end-to-end sales processes, including payment collection and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Farmer Awareness and Promotion

  • Expand awareness about disease-free and healthy nursery saplings among farmers through field visits, demonstrations, and farmer meetings.
  • Highlight the benefits of using certified nursery products for higher yield and better crop quality.

Collaboration with Seed Companies

  • Establish collaborations with seed companies or their representatives to secure guaranteed sales and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Build long-term relationships with stakeholders to create sustainable sales channels.

Order Alignment and Coordination

  • Align sapling orders with the growing and operations team to ensure production meets market demand.
  • Follow up internally to ensure the timely delivery of quality saplings as per customer requirements.

Lead Generation and Demand Management

  • Collect and generate leads for nursery sapling orders based on market demand.
  • Assess and cater to the specific needs of farmers, including grafting and plant variety requirements.

Sales Closing and Payment Collection

  • Ensure error-free delivery of saplings to customers, meeting all agreed terms and conditions.
  • Manage sales processes from lead conversion to final payment collection, ensuring deal closure with customer satisfaction.

Market Research and Feedback

  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and farmers need to identify new opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to the growing and operations team to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, sales activities, customer interactions, and payment collections.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends for the management team.
Qualifications & Skills required
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–2 years in field sales, marketing, or agricultural operations.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with farmers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of nursery products, grafting techniques, and crop varieties is a plus.

Working Days : 6 ,Monday to Saturday

Timings : 9am to 6pm
