We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our high-quality vegetables to B2B customers. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales deals with businesses and organisations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets for our products.
  • Generate leads through proactive prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including retailers, restaurants, foodservice providers, and other businesses.
  • Present our vegetables to potential buyers, highlighting their unique selling points and value propositions.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including production, marketing, and logistics, to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries, concerns, or issues raised by customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Travel to meet with potential and existing customers, including business visits and attending industry events or trade shows.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and risks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar B2B sales role.
  • Strong spoken English skills to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and passion for the agricultural industry and fresh produce.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
