Job Title: Business Systems Operations Specialist

Location: Guadalajara

THE OPPORTUNITY:

At Salesloft, our Business Systems Operations Specialist will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Enterprise Business Systems Team - leading strategy, planning, implementation, advanced configuration, and business process optimization efforts across a set of business systems. You will have a passionate, capable team supporting you.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the support, development, and maintenance of Salesforce and its related internal business systems. You must own the pursuit of a simplified, trusted set of data to withstand our fast growth and empower strategic company decisions. You need to have pride in and passion for helping others succeed. You will likely want to pursue a career in either the Business Systems or the Salesforce ecosystem. Specifically, you will:

  • Own systems support for our internal team that rivals the support we deliver to our customers
  • Organize and escalate items, as needed, to support the team in a timely manner
  • Work with team members and stakeholders throughout the business to better understand system challenges; then, collaborate with our team to see how processes and systems could generate permanent solutions
  • Gather requirements and help shepherd solutions to internal teams
  • You have the vision and experience to confidently deliver scalable solutions

THE TEAM:

Our Salesloft’s Enterprise Business Systems team is comprised of seasoned and up-and-coming systems experts who are all aligned on one vision and mission:

The Enterprise Business Systems team consists of administrators and engineers who drive the business forward and forge their own success. The Lofters on our team share a few common traits: they are self-starters, passionate about solving complex challenges, naturally curious, driven to learn and grow their skills, and aggressively pursuing AI efficiencies.

THE SKILL SET:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience with Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Systems Management, Business Process Optimization
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starting and focused on personal growth
  • Demonstrated experience building custom reports and dashboards within Salesforce preferred
  • A firm understanding of the relationships between and types of custom objects and fields preferred
  • Baseline understanding of user setup (roles, profiles, permission sets, etc), page layouts, connected apps, installed packages, OWDs, Apps, and Lightning UI within Salesforce preferred
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus
  • Experience with Salesloft is a plus
  • Salesforce CPQ familiarity is a plus

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique
  • Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-60-90 plan, and meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team
  • Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
  • Meet key partners in Strategy and Operations, Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, Marketing, Executives, etc. - they will be key relationships for you
  • Become familiar with our CRM through training, self-study, and shadowing
  • Learn to handle many tier 1 system support requests

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Lead the management of the Business Systems support box
  • Handle the majority of Tier 1 system support requests
  • Pursue your Salesforce Admin 201, or next, certification through self-study - Trailhead, videos, questions, and shadowing
  • Gain a high-level understanding of the full GTM tech stack
  • Work with stakeholders on building requirements for Salesforce changes and escalate necessary changes
  • Become familiar with all Lead to Renewals systems through training, self-study, and shadowing.
  • Have a high-level understanding how all lead-to-revenue systems interact

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Become Salesloft Admin certified
  • Handle all Tier 1 system support requests and work on some Tier 2 requests
  • Own operation of the Business Systems support box, SLAs, and reporting
  • Lead architecture change submissions, prioritization, requirements gathering, task development, and timeline
  • Work side-by-side with the Business Systems Admins and Engineers to deliver on requirements
  • Continue to focus on your OKRs

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Be Salesforce Admin 201 certified and aggressively pursue next level career path development
  • Handle the majority of Tier 1 & 2 Business Systems support requests
  • Become a resource for anyone trying to understand our lead-to-renewal tech stack
  • Lead recommendations on efficiency, system, and data integrity improvements
