THE OPPORTUNITY:
At Salesloft, our Manager, Business Systems will be pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Enterprise Business Systems Team. You will lead a passionate, capable team while also contributing directly to strategy, planning, implementation, advanced configuration, and business process optimization efforts across a set of business systems. These systems support the Product, Engineering, G&A, and Finance teams.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the strategy, development, and architecture of systems aligned to several business functions. Specifically, you will:
- Lead team members and own a RACI matrix for Product, Engineering, G&A, and Finance tech stacks (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed)
- Drive development and execution of strategies for increased adoption, improved utilization, and enhanced value
- Act as the product owner for the overall assigned business systems architecture, defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and managing the system lifecycle
- Own validation for new system evaluations and purchases
- Lead ideation, development, and delivery for AI use cases
- Actively participate in complex system configurations and problem-solving alongside the team
- Develop deep relationships with business leaders across departments to align system strategies with their business goals and develop integrated system roadmaps
- Identify training and development needs for the team members
- Lead the team to develop and deliver metrics that optimize business processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual efforts
- Own generation and organization of comprehensive documentation of system data flows, business processes, and configurations to ensure knowledge sharing and system maintainability
- Establish and enforce standards and procedures for system configuration management to ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance

The Enterprise Business Systems team consists of administrators and engineers who drive the business forward and forge their own success. THE SKILL SET:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing and developing technical teams.
Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Strong understanding of enterprise business systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, HRIS).
- Experience with leading the Product, Engineering, G&A, and Finance systems stacks preferred.
- Strong understanding of AI capabilities and tools needed to deliver complex AI solutions.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level business systems.
- Proven experience with system integrations and middleware technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process optimization skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with business process mapping and documentation.
- Knowledge of system configuration management principles and best practices.
- Ability to define and promote best practices for system usage and administration.
- Familiarity with relevant technologies, such as databases, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
- Project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
- Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique
- Understand the market value proposition for each system
- Build a framework to deliver RACI and begin filling in the template
- Begin 1:1’s with your manager and each of your team members, understand your 30-60-90 plan, and meet & shadow other team members
- Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
- Meet key partners in your set of business systems - they will be key relationships for your success
- Begin certification paths for key systems
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Complete the RACI matrix for your system stack
- Identify opportunities for cost savings
- Establish a stack-ranked list of efficiency improvements and AI use cases
- Be a systems overview expert for your department(s) - feeling comfortable describing the value we get from each system and how/why they connect to other systems
- Meet with your department stakeholders regularly and begin building a system roadmap
- Deliver a plan for achieving your OKR goals
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Own advanced configurations of your system stack
- Develop and implement a training plan for the team.
- Completed documentation on each system and a diagram of interconnected systems
- Implement some efficiency/AI improvements and have a formal roadmap for others
- Show solid progress on your OKRs
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Be the trusted expert on the assigned system stack, lead relevant evaluations, and make adjustments to the stack for efficiency
- Deliver cost savings and increased system value to the business
- Evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement.
