THE OPPORTUNITY:
At Salesloft, our Renewals Administrators are pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our renewals team focused on supporting our renewal managers to ensure timely and quality processing of our customer renewals.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a data driven results-oriented and motivated individual who thrives in a high volume and fast paced environment. Specifically, you will play a pivotal role in helping us scale our renewals approach, by assisting the Renewals Team in account renewals starting early in the customer life cycle and ensuring customers are transitioning through pivotal points to build momentum and value leading up to the renewal.
Success in this role requires a high level of organization and coordination with the broader Renewals team in working hand in hand to achieve the departmental goal. This role will include backend deal desk related support with quote creation and contract processing and ensuring timely processing of our customer renewals. This position will also perform administrative duties as required.
On a day-to-day basis, you will work alongside the renewals team to:
- calculate contract values and structure quotes
- ensure all information is properly entered into Salesforce.
- Proactively prep the renewals specialist with information needed leading into a renewal: current terms, elements to address, health score, account summary, etc. ensuring data accuracy and timely entry.
- Evaluate patterns and trends in renewal data
- Interact with customers via email to support contract negotiations

THE SKILL SET:
- 2 years of customer support or sales experience at a software company [SaaS model], ideally with an emphasis on renewals.
- Experience with Salesforce is a huge plus, Salesloft is a big bonus.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on strict and short deadlines, able to set priorities and deal effectively with shifting priorities
- Advanced Excel knowledge preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:
- Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “Lofters” unique
- Join our 3-week Sales Bootcamp, where you will learn our software and all the skills necessary to set you up for success, allowing you to make an impact in the market quickly
- Begin 1:1’s with your manager, understand your 30-6-90 plan, meet & shadow current members of the Salesloft team, and delve into your territory
- Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them
- Meet key partners in Customer Success, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Executives etc. - they will be key relationships for you throughout your renewal cycles
- Shadow your peers to start hearing and learning the renewal motion - bring your questions!
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Feel comfortable managing renewal conversations and closing your first renewals
- Confidently assess potential retention risks and lead commercial negotiations with customers
- Begin to craft strategies for diagnosing customer health and renewal potential at scale
- Consistently forecast revenue and keep your opportunities up to date
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Consistently meet or exceed your retention targets
- Complete your Lessonly training to ensure you are up-to-date on negotiation best practices, new releases and more
- Continue to focus on your OKRs
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
- Be considered a top-performing Renewals Administrator on the team by consistently exceeding your goals
- Set an example for new Renewals team members, and assist in training, onboarding and motivating new Lofters
