Job Description

A bit about this role:

Our Provider Operations team is responsible for managing Devoted's provider data and for streamlining our operations with providers across markets. We are building operational processes and data infrastructure that allows us to deliver on our mission to serve as true partners to our providers, achieve industry-leading provider satisfaction, and reduce administrative complexity for providers.

Devoted has agreements with our providers that contain a variety of payment models, including value-based care. These agreements enable us to carry out our mission to align all stakeholders to care for members like family. The Provider Operations Manager will be responsible for operationalizing our provider contracts, while providing key support for other Provider Operations functions. We are looking for a creative and analytical thinker who is excited about value-based healthcare, and eager to work in partnership with our product and engineering teams to improve our tools and processes and help us scale.

Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Build processes and tooling to drive scalability in our end-to-end contract configuration and implementation

  • Mange our 3rd party contract management software, including all relevant measurement and tracking, and managing future builds

  • Partner with our Network team to ensure our contact submission process is as clear and efficient as possible

  • Partner with our Product & Tech teams to continue to develop tooling & capabilities to support the process improvement

  • Manage relationship with our offshore partner team

  • Evolve and own KPIs and metrics, and lead efforts to build and enhance key business intelligence dashboards to evaluate performance, drive improvements and provide visibility

Required skills and experience:

  • Analytical horsepower: leveraging data to formulate insights. This includes manipulating and understanding data to craft data-driven messages, as well as thinking of new ways to draw insights from data.

  • Operations minded: define an endpoint and formulate & execute against a plan for getting there, with quantifiable mile markers along the way.

  • Relationship builder: expert at building relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Communication skills: conversational agility expertise demonstrated by the ability to reframe, refocus, and redirect conversations to realize accretive partnerships and desired outcomes. Additionally, this individual needs to be able to condense complex concepts into simple explanations with clear and concise calls to action

  • Organization skills: super organized with an eye for detail and the ability to understand and document what matters. Staying organized is a critical component of being able to pivot between going deep into the details and stepping back to see themes or levers that inform strategy.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Capacity for high throughput, while working both autonomously and collaboratively with others

  • Experience with leveraging analytics and critical thinking to digest complex quantitative information, produce rigorous insights, design & implement operational models based on those insights, & develop appropriate analytics to measure success

  • You build strong cross-functional relationships, prioritizing collaborative and empathetic communication

  • Track record of success becoming an expert with a tool or system that was unfamiliar to you

  • Experience with Data, Analytics, & Business Intelligence Platforms, such as Snowflake or Looker, preferred

  • Experience using Large Language Models to optimize business processes, preferred

  • Proven success developing and operationalizing KPIs, preferred

Salary Range: $76,000 - $126,000 per year

Our ranges are purposefully broad to allow for growth within the role over time. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
