Job Description

A bit about this role:

We can’t transform health care for America’s seniors alone. It requires coordination and information exchange within the healthcare supply chain. If we do it well, we believe we can improve how healthcare is paid for, delivered, and experienced.

The Integrations Manager will be a member of Integration Operations, a hub for electronic transactions, and part of the Product Management Organization. The team is responsible for facilitation and monitoring of electronic connections, data files, and individual transactions.

Required skills and experience:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in program or project management, specifically within a technical environment.

  • Understanding of healthcare IT systems, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Comfortable taking on both leadership and hands-on roles in driving projects to completion.

  • Proven experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams, including Operations, Product, and Technology.

  • Strong track record of identifying risks, issues, and roadblocks within programs, and proactively working with teams to mitigate them.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, critical tasks, and conflicting requirements in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate both horizontally (with peers) and vertically (with senior leadership).

  • Ability to incorporate company vision, mission, and values in decision-making.

  • Solid understanding of system integration architecture, APIs, X12, HL7, and other industry-standard EDI formats.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Ability to interpret and understand complex technical requirements, identify solutions, and manage risks related to technical complexities.

  • Proficiency in performing data analysis and reporting using SQL queries and Google Sheets.

Attributes to success:

  • You are highly collaborative, and are comfortable at the intersection of Operations and Technology.

  • You are a roll-up-your-sleeves and jump right in kind of person.

  • You are fast hands-on-keys in finding clever solutions to problems and iterating from there.

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and working in a startup environment.

  • You have a deep desire to make U.S. healthcare better.

Your responsibilities and impact will include:

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to scope, prioritize, build, and scale new integrations using a variety of technologies, including ANSI, Batch EDI, API, and SFTP.

  • Responsible for integration builds, unit testing, system design, troubleshooting, and the implementation of solutions to ensure seamless system integration.

  • Monitor overall performance, quality, speed, and health of data exchange transactions to ensure that accurate information is flowing seamlessly between Devoted Health and our external partners.

  • Support stateside and offshore teams of Integration Associates to deliver, monitor, and support seamless data exchange.

  • Closely track and execute on high priority projects that are critical to the expansion and stability of internal business workflows.

  • Work with vendors and internal business stakeholders to ensure service level agreements and CMS compliance guidelines are met; be primary liaison between Devoted staff and vendors.

  • Identify and optimize gaps in internal processes and tools to enhance product effectiveness.

  • Define, implement, and drive appropriate KPIs to measure.
