Global Procurement Change & Capability Lead

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Finance team shapes the company's future by directing capital to high-impact investments, developing robust financial strategies, and ensuring we deliver long-term value while pursuing our ambitious mission.

We’re looking for a Global Procurement Change & Capability Lead to join our London team. This is a hybrid role. In this role, you’ll ensure procurement changes are adopted, embedded, and sustained across our global organisation, ensuring our major transformation initiatives land successfully in practice, not just on paper.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Procurement Transformation team. We are responsible for driving the modernisation, digital transformation, and capability uplift of our global procurement function to support Deliveroo’s evolving scale and ambition.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Change Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute the overarching change management strategy, translating our transformation roadmap into structured adoption plans with clear readiness criteria.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communications: Design a clear change narrative that aligns with broader business priorities, managing communication plans that drive understanding, buy-in, and engagement from senior leadership down.

  • Training & Enablement: Define role-based training requirements and design pragmatic enablement approaches (including eLearning, workshops, and playbooks) that focus on embedding new ways of working.

  • Capability Framework & Development: Design, build, and maintain a comprehensive procurement capability framework, defining clear development pathways for key roles in partnership with HR and L&D.

  • Adoption Measurement: Define adoption KPIs, monitor post-implementation system and process usage, and introduce targeted interventions or sustainment mechanisms where regression occurs.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Essential

  • Proven Change Leadership: Significant experience leading change and adoption programmes within procurement or enterprise transformation, with a record of delivering measurable, sustained behavioural change.

  • End-to-End Strategy Design: Proven ability to design and execute complete adoption strategies, spanning stakeholder management, communications, training design, and reinforcement.

  • Capability Building: Strong experience designing and scaling functional capability frameworks, development pathways, or learning programmes that visibly uplift team maturity.

  • Cross-Functional Influencing: Exceptional stakeholder management skills across Procurement, Finance, Legal, and business teams, with the capability to influence senior leaders and drive global alignment.

  • Digital Transformation Familiarity: Solid understanding of embedding change within digital or Source-to-Pay (S2P) transformations (e.g., Coupa or equivalent) to ensure new platforms are utilised to their full potential.

Nice to Have

  • Global or Post-M&A Context: Experience driving process or system adoption across complex, multi-regional environments with diverse cultures and legacy ways of working.

  • Structured Methodologies: Strong understanding of structured change frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) adapted pragmatically to fast-paced, commercial environments.

  • Modern Training Delivery: Experience delivering digital, self-service, and role-based onboarding formats for continuous learning.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Ability to leverage adoption and capability metrics (e.g., system usage, compliant buying, training completion) to actively track, diagnose, and improve outcomes.

  • CoE Collaboration: Experience operating within a centre-led or Centre of Excellence (CoE) model, partnering closely with process, analytics, and governance teams.
