Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Team Lead to join our dynamic team in the food delivery industry. The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets. This role requires a strong leader with excellent sales skills, a deep understanding of the food delivery market, and the ability to drive team performance.
Main Responsibilities
Team Management and Development
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals
Conduct regular team meetings to share updates, best practices, and address challenges.
Provide performance coaching and ensure quality standards through monthly call shadowing sessions, focusing on pitch, engagement, and communication
Oversee onboarding of new joiners, ensuring a smooth integration and tracking onboarding metrics such as images and menu completion
Implement regular training refreshers to keep the team upskilled and aligned with sales standards
Sales Strategy and Execution
Collaborate with your line manager and the Sales Ops Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to your assigned cities
Drive execution of sales initiatives across markets to enhance performance and reach growth targets
Set clear sales targets and KPIs in line with company objectives
Pipeline and Lead Management
Oversee the sales pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of opportunities and strong team velocity
Provide guidance to team members on effective pipeline management and support them in closing deals and negotiating partner contracts
Ensure accurate lead tracking and CRM data input to maintain clean records and support reporting accuracy
Performance Tracking and Reporting
Monitor and analyze key team performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and success
Ensure team members consistently meet or exceed sales and commercial targets.
Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to improve sales strategies and signing quality
Qualifications
BSc/BA in business or a related field is preferred
3-5 years of sales & negotiation experience preferably within a high-growth company
Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the food delivery or hospitality industry
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
F&B industry experience in Kuwait is a plus
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with excellent organizational and time management skills
Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Passionate about the food delivery industry and staying current with market trends
