About the team
The Partner Operations Manager sits within the Italy Operations department and is focused on improving the experience of our customers when they place an order from our largest and highest volume restaurants and grocery partners.
You will work in our offices in Milan.
About the role
As a Partner Operations Manager you will improve the delivery operations associated with our highest volume partners. You will resolve issues across multiple stakeholders and test solutions to address them.
You will also work with the commercial team to equip them with the necessary tool set to improve site performance, while aligning the aims of Partner Operations with other functions in the business. You will also collaborate with the Product team to ensure the voice of the partner is considered in the development of new features and drive their rollout with internal and external partners.
Furthermore, where relevant, you will expand existing and rolling out new partners, while ensuring high operational performance for new site launches.
What you'll be doing
Deliverable 1: Improve our delivery operations associated with our highest volume partners cross-functionally
Proactively diagnose, resolve and report on areas of concern for partner operations across multiple stakeholders, testing solutions to address them and quickly determining how to scale them
Innovatively seek out opportunities to move the needle on partner operational performance
Align the aims of Partner Operations with those of other departments within the business on areas such as target and KPI setting
Attend partner Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to provide operational updates and understand main commercial priorities for partners
Deliverable 2: Work with the Product team to advocate for the voice of the partner in the development of new features, and lead the rollout and implementation of new features with internal stakeholders and external partners
Collaborate with the Product team to ensure the voice of the partner is considered in the development of new features
Drive the rollout and implementation of new features with internal and external partners
Deliverable 3: Pivotal in the expansion and rollout plans of partners, to ensure solid operational performance for new site launches
Where relevant, expand existing and rolling out new partners while ensuring high operational performance for new site launches
Leverage relationships when aligning results with partners, including effective negotiation skills and rigorous operational proposals
Deliverable 4: Deliver impactful cross-functional projects
Manage high impact cross-functional projects
Leverage data to provide compelling business cases
Requirements
At least 5 years experience in strategy, management consulting, investment banking, operations management or growth.
Able to build working relationships with key stakeholders, influence, and attain the requisite buy-in
Able to rally others behind an idea and get stakeholders (both internal and external) to buy-in to your ideas.
Analytical - able to identify the relevant information required to make a decision and present that information in a concise manner
Innovative - You will innovate on current ways of working and identify areas for improvement, propose innovative solutions, and execute them and consider manner while managing stakeholder communications.Project management - experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a structured and logical way to ensure you’re always delivering the right work at the right time.
Data fluency: able to manipulate large datasets using Excel/Google Sheets and SQL, and translate complex analyses into clear insights using BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau) to support decision-making.
