Role Overview:

The FP&A Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting Deliveroo’s growth in France by driving financial planning, business analysis, and turning data into actionable insights for the local leadership team. Reporting to the FP&A Senior Manager, you will own the forecasting process and ensure accurate reporting that supports both operational performance and strategic initiatives.

This role requires a highly analytical finance professional with an FP&A experience in fast-paced, international environments. You’ll be a trusted partner to leadership, helping shape business performance through data-driven insights and rigorous financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Forecasting:

Own the financial forecasting process, working in close collaboration across all functions of the business to ensure accuracy & exhaustivity of the forecast

Support annual budgeting and long-term planning cycles, linking business initiatives to financial outcomes.

Financial Analysis & Insights:

Deliver in-depth business analysis to the Country Leadership team, leveraging financial, analytical, and strategic expertise

Monitor and explain business performance versus targets, prior year, and forecasts

Guarantee accurate P&Ls and performance metrics, and provide insights that help the leadership team drive growth and efficiency.

Business Partnering:

Collaborate across functions (Commercial, Operations, Marketing, etc.) to link financial performance with business drivers

Work with the FP&A Senior Manager to deliver clear, concise analysis for France management team and CFO.

Operational Excellence:

Build and improve tools and processes to drive efficiency in forecasting, reporting, and analysis.

Ensure data integrity and timely delivery of financial reporting.

Ad-hoc Projects:

Work closely with HQ Finance & Strategy teams in execution of company wide projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven FP&A experience in an international, fast-paced environment, including ownership of financial models, forecasting accuracy, and variance analysis to support decision-making.

  • Analytical problem-solver and critical thinker, with experience working with large data sets, strong attention to detail, and the ability to turn complex financial data into actionable insights.

  • Adaptable and proactive, comfortable managing tight deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-changing business environment.

  • Solid understanding of key financial processes, including forecasting, expense tracking (purchase orders, marketing budgets), and P&L management.

  • Strong communicator and collaborator, able to ask the right questions, interpret information effectively, and build relationships with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Operations) and senior management.

  • Fluent in French & English, with proven ability to present findings (revenues, costs, opex drivers) clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders, both in writing and orally.

  • Advanced Excel and/or G-Suite skills, with hands-on experience in reporting automation, financial modeling, and leveraging data analysis tools to improve forecasting accuracy.
