The Team

The U.K. & Ireland is our domestic and most mature market. Teams include commercial, operations, marketing and strategy, and teams in the UK&I partner with global departments such as product, technology and consumer. You will be based in London and need to be in the office 3 days a week, but you will also have opportunities to visit the partners we work with in person.

The Role

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our newly formed Host Kitchen Team. We work with some of the most exciting and innovative Host Kitchen Partners that connect restaurant brands with kitchens that have excess capacity all across the UK to bring exciting cuisines and brands to new areas. Your role will be focused on driving the growth of this segment.

It will be commercially focused and requires cross-functional collaboration with operations, marketing, sales and strategy to ensure the Host Kitchen category is performing to its best. You will own relationships with our most important Host Kitchen Partners and be expected to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and execute initiatives that help both the partners and Deliveroo grow and be successful.

This is a role for a data-driven and ambitious individual who is looking for strong commercial & strategic business experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Strategic account management: Build strong relationships with our Host Kitchen partners, ensuring they are set up for success on Deliveroo and have the right insights, guidance, and support to grow their business
  • Commercial negotiation: Manage the contract renewals and commercial terms upon which Host Kitchen partners work with Deliveroo
  • Operational Improvement: Support the Head of Host Kitchens with process improvement initiatives that enable the category to grow at scale
  • Reporting and analytics: Utilise data across your role to identify the biggest growth opportunities for the Host Kitchen category

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in account management or commercial roles
  • Looking for a jump into exciting startup environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and comfortable understanding and using data
  • Experience in working in a dynamic high-growth company is preferable
