The Team
The Security team at Deliveroo is crucial for ensuring that our consumer, rider and restaurant partners trust our platform and for delivering a highly available service to our customers. Our security strategy recognises our desire to be a recognised class leader for cyber security and we are committed to the investment needed to reach that goal.
As the Senior Manager for Identity and Access Management (IAM), you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our IAM strategy and corresponding security controls that ensure the security and privacy of our platform. This is a strategic leadership role within our Information Security department, responsible for all aspects of access management, including change and operational activities. You will also lead a team of IAM specialists responsible for the ongoing management of our IAM systems.
As a member of the Security Leadership Team (SLT), you will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer.
This is a hybrid role, requiring an average of 3 days a week in the office in Cannon Street, London.
What you’ll do:
- Establish governance forums for IAM to ensure that priorities are agreed, decisions are made, and appropriate stakeholders are kept informed about IAM progress.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with Deliveroo’s business needs and our cyber security maturity goals.
- Build, manage and mentor a brand new team of IAM specialists.
- Lead on the design, implementation, and ongoing support of our IAM controls, including identity federation, single sign-on (Google), multi-factor authentication, and identity and access governance (Sailpoint).
- Be accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of access management, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and monitoring of user access.
- Drive the adoption of leading IAM technologies and best practices to enhance security and user experience.
- Assist with risk assessments, audits and implement recommendations to mitigate IAM-related risks.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging IAM technologies and trends to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Held overall accountability for identity and access management controls at large technology companies / financial institutions
- Experience implementing and operating cloud native identity management solutions such as Okta, Sailpoint, Auth0 and similar tools
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, protocols, and standards (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML).
- Experience with implementing and managing cloud-native IAM solutions and platforms (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google IdP, Sailpoint IDN).
- You have a proven track record of building and managing multi-disciplined teams (e.g. software engineers/analysts).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced certifications in IAM (e.g., CISM, CISSP).
- Experience with Sailpoint IdentityNow/IdentityIQ
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
