The Planning & Performance team sits within UKI Operations and is responsible for the availability, reliability and efficiency of the delivery network across the UK & Ireland. This includes fleet size planning, network management, logistics, incentives and rider pricing.

The role

Operating at scale in a hyper-competitive, high-growth environment is no mean feat. As such, you'll be faced with some of the most exciting challenges across the food tech space. Reporting to the Head of Planning & Performance, UKI, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the logistics network in the UK & Ireland by leading and managing a team of Regional Operations Managers (ROMs).

Your primary focus will be on providing strong leadership and strategic direction to your team, empowering them to excel in their roles to drive operational excellence. You will guide them in developing and executing both strategic and hyperlocal plans, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Additionally, you will oversee the operational budget for each region, ensuring sustainable growth while meeting key performance and service indicators.

Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with other members of the Planning & Performance team, as well as wider teams within UKI Operations and Global Operations, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our riders, restaurants, and customers. This role will involve significant cross-functional collaboration, including working with Supply, Rider pricing, Content, Engagement and Network teams to develop regional and national initiatives.

Your leadership will be instrumental in transforming the ROMs into subject matter experts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic thinking within the team.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
