The Finance and Strategy team's core mission is to help Deliveroo make great decisions. We aim to build long-term company value by guiding the company strategy, facilitating world-class execution, understanding the drivers of business performance, delivering accurate financial results, whilst managing risks and keeping an eye out for opportunities.

About the role

You will be part of the Consumer Finance & Strategy team. We partner with the Consumer Tech & Marketing organisation to create great customer experiences that make commercial sense. Our partner teams decide the fees we charge consumers, develop our loyalty programmes, run our consumer app and website, manage our brand and operate our marketing. As a Finance & Strategy partner, you will become an expert in the strategy, economics and financial implications of your area. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with a variety of non-finance stakeholders in the heart of the business, whilst overseeing some traditional finance functions like controllership and reporting.

We operate a hybrid model, working at least 3 days a week in the office in Cannon Street, London.


  • You will be a highly analytical, structured thinker, capable of solving difficult, ambiguous problems
  • You will be highly articulate, capable of communicating complex arguments in simple language
  • You will be technically competent, comfortable in large spreadsheet-based financial models
  • You will have good business sense, ideally experience in Consumer businesses
  • You are humble, patient yet hungry for driving improvement and take ownership with minimal level of guidance
  • You hold yourself accountable to deliver results while being comfortable getting your hands dirty to get the job done. You demonstrate the whatever it takes attitude required to work in a dynamic company
