As a Security Architect, you will implement different company wide security controls and technologies spanning 12 geographies. Working with important partners and members of the Security team, you will and help implement the security strategy.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager Security Architecture, you will work on a range of security activities. You will directly influence the security posture of many projects across the company to ensure that security plays an important part in everything we do.

What you'll do

  • Be one of the central points of contact with the business with regards to cyber security.

  • Work with important partners to ensure that security is built into the design of projects across the business.

  • Build important security controls and technologies for the Security team and support the security strategy.

  • Analyse applications, and infrastructure to identify important architectural risks, and recommend and lead security improvements using a risk-based approach.

  • Articulate business and security requirements in product evaluations via the RFP process.

  • Collaborate with the Product Security function to ensure the appropriate security controls and technologies are in place across the tech stack to support DevSecOps.

  • Provide level 3 SME support for security technologies or in the event of a security incident.

  • Support the Security Risk Management function on the development of security policies, security audits, risk management, and security awareness and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.

  • Hands-on and technical background with a understanding of enterprise systems, the security threats they face, and how to remediate them.

  • Broad knowledge of the security technologies and capabilities used in an enterprise, in a high growth, cloud-based environment.

  • Experience developing a security technology "blueprint" applying a cloud framework (e.g, AWS Well Architected) to build secure, and efficient infrastructure for applications and workloads.

  • Experience with virtualised and containerised environments (e.g., AWS ECS) and ensuring that security architecture and engineering aligns to that model.

  • Knowledge of at least one security domain (e.g., identity and access management, application security, data security, cloud security).

Preferred, but not required:

  • A mix of consulting and industry experience.

  • Experience with security audits and compliance and risk management.

  • Hands-on coding experience.

  • Cloud security experience is a must, but AWS cloud and Google Workspace experience.
