Senior Hyperlocal Marketing Manager, UK & Ireland
Location: Dublin, IRE OR Manchester, UK.
The Hyperlocal Marketing Team:
The Senior Hyperlocal Marketing Manager will sit within the Hyperlocal Marketing Team. We develop the strategy for how Deliveroo wins at a regional, local and hyper-local level. This includes identifying target audiences, and commercial and consumer insights to develop engaging strategies across key locations within the UK & Ireland.
We use these insights to develop campaigns and toolkits that we then implement across key regions, cities and neighbourhoods to unblock consumer barriers and win market share. We advocate for a test and learn culture to understand how we can best achieve our goals.
We are a team of two parts: Hyperlocal Strategy & Hyperlocal Media Planning. You will sit within the Hyperlocal Strategy team and work with the Hyperlocal Media Planning team to set and deliver the vision of the team. We are a growing team with big goals for 2024: if you are motivated by leading groundbreaking campaigns, improving new strategies, and delivering on our priorities in market-leading ways then the Hyperlocal mission is one for you!
The Senior Local Marketing Manager, UK & Ireland will report directly to the Head of Local Marketing. You will be a hybrid role with responsibility for managing the end-to-end marketing strategy across Ireland, whilst delivering hyperlocal plans that span across both the UK & Ireland.
Overseeing the end-to-end Ireland marketing strategy will provide great autonomy to build a marketing plan timed around key seasonal and customer moments throughout the year. You will achieve this by working collaboratively with the Commercial Team to evaluate the commercial needs, key customer moments and opportunities of their regions. You will provide data-led recommendations, using this output to lead joint business planning at regional, city and neighbourhood levels.
Overseeing strategy for key UKI-wide Hyperlocal marketing workstreams will provide exposure to team members from across the business delivering on some of our most important programmes which shape the direction of Deliveroo on a hyperlocal level. You will set the promotional and customer strategy, align management team members, and work with teams across the business to achieve our vision.
You will develop insightful reporting and measurement, turning insight into a recommendation, shaping out the business direction on a hyperlocal level.
What we’re looking for from you:
- 5+ years experience in marketing or agency experience building TTL marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of the Ireland Market: understanding the nuance of how we can win with customers across Ireland.
- Previous experience working in a local marketing role: understanding the need for local relevance with customers.
- You’re both analytical and commercial and you enjoy interpreting data to develop insight/consumer-led marketing strategy. You can then translate this into strategic and creative campaigns.
- You have channel knowledge across multi-channel, earned and own channels; experience creating channel plans to meet campaign goals.
- You can improve and evaluate campaigns, whilst providing future recommendations.
- You’re experienced at implementing simultaneous projects at once and multiple cross-departmental teams.

Workplace & Diversity
At Deliveroo we know that people are the heart of the business and we prioritise their welfare. We offer multiple great benefits in areas including health, family, finance, community, convenience, growth and relocation. We believe a great workplace is one that represents the world we live in and how beautifully diverse it can be. That means we have no judgment when it comes to any one of the things that make you who you are - your gender, race, sexuality, religion or a secret aversion to coriander. All you need is a passion for (most) food and a desire to be part of one of the fastest-growing tech companies in an exciting space.
If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you.
