What you’ll be doing…

Your role will be supporting the wider business in day to day administration support and guidance on people related matters. You will be the go to person for the business when it comes to systems ensuring that our records are up to date at all times through regular auditing. Each day will be different to the next and there will always be process improvements and different initiatives to contribute across both the people team and wider business. You will be passionate about people, employee engagement and having a lot of fun whilst learning new skills and coming up with solutions to everyday challenges to drive the business forward.

You will have a great eye for detail, be solution focused, tech savvy and have a willingness to get in and get stuff done!

What you’ll be doing:

• Advising managers and employees. Offer leaders pragmatic advice in resolving people issues and proactively educate teams on HR policies and programs.
• Driving key initiatives and process improvement. Own and optimise people processes and programmes across the Singapore business to continue to deliver an outstanding employee experience across employee relations, learning development and performance management as we continue to scale.
• Owning our people data. Ensure all our employee data is organised and maintained efficiently in our Workday system so we can influence leadership.
• Championing our high-performance people culture. Act as a role model of our people values, and drive a positive and progressive culture throughout the company.
• Celebrating difference. Ensure Deliveroo’s diversity and inclusion values and goals are embedded throughout our people strategy and processes.

What we’re ideally looking for:

• 6+ years HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced changing environment
• High energy with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with an eye for detail
• A curious and avid learner with a constant focus on process improvement
• Clear passion for our mission and providing a world-class employee experience
• Top notch people skills – you exude emotional intelligence which can be used to win round even the toughest person
• Thorough understanding of Singapore employment laws and regulations as well as TAFEP standards
• Experience organising and learning development and leadership programmes
• A strong coordinator able to work to tight deadlines across multiple groups of stakeholders
