Senior Product Manager - Equity
Summary
As a Senior Product Manager, you will own the execution and evolution of Deel’s Equity product, a fast-growing and strategically important area within our Core Data organisation. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, engineers, and cross-functional partners across compliance, payroll, and compensation to deliver a best-in-class global equity experience.
This role sits at the intersection of fintech, payroll, HR, and compliance. You will be responsible for translating complex equity concepts into scalable product solutions, helping power one of Deel’s most important and rapidly expanding revenue lines.
Why this role
Equity is a critical component of how companies attract, retain, and reward talent globally, yet it remains highly complex, fragmented, and manual — especially when you go global.
At Deel, we are building a global equity platform that connects equity data, payroll, and compliance into a seamless experience. Today, we’ve only scratched the surface, with significant opportunities to automate manual workflows, expand into new worker types, and deeply integrate equity into broader products like compensation and total rewards.
You’ll join at a pivotal moment: owning execution for a high-growth product with low market penetration, strong demand, and a clear path to scale.
What you’ll do
Own the day-to-day execution of the Equity product, working across both equity data and equity services
Drive delivery of a roadmap focused on AI, automation, scalability, and global compliance
Partner closely with engineering (distributed across EMEA and APAC) to ship high-impact features quickly
Work cross-functionally with compliance, payroll, and compensation product teams to ensure seamless integration
Define how Deel ingests and models equity data from external systems (e.g., stock administration platforms like Carta, Shareworks, Fidelity, and more)
Build and improve workflows around key equity events (e.g. vesting, reporting, compliance handling)
Identify and prioritise opportunities to reduce manual processes and operational overhead
Support expansion of the equity product into new geographies and additional worker types
Contribute to connecting equity into Deel’s broader ecosystem (e.g. total compensation and rewards)
Communicate progress, priorities, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders across product and business teams
Operate in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment where speed and execution are critical
What success looks like in 12 months
Delivery of a clear and well-executed roadmap focused on AI, automation, and product expansion
Reduction in manual operational processes through scalable product improvements
Increased adoption of the equity product across new worker types and geographies
Strong collaboration with compliance, payroll, and compensation product teams
Measurable growth in product usage and contribution to revenue within the Equity service
What you’ll bring
3–5+ years of experience in Product Management (flexible depending on level)
Strong execution skills with the ability to deliver quickly in a fast-moving environment
Experience working in fintech, payroll, compliance, or other complex regulated domains (highly preferred)
Solid understanding of financial concepts, or the ability to ramp quickly on equity and compensation structures
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and owning a product area end-to-end
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics
Experience working in distributed, global teams
Nice to have
Experience with equity management, stock administration platforms, or cap table systems
Background in payroll or compliance-heavy environments
Experience building products that integrate with external financial or HR systems
