As our team continues to grow, we are currently seeking a Security Engineer to protect our information systems and ensure the secure and smooth operation of our technology stack.
In this multifaceted role, you will have the opportunity to interface with, and provide essential support for, all components of our IT infrastructure. This includes our on-site network and media systems, cloud-based platforms, cybersecurity measures, and help desk operations.
As part of your broad-based responsibilities, you will be particularly focused on advancing our security program and technology infrastructure projects. Your duties will encompass the management of mobile devices, the facilitation of single sign-on (SSO), zero-trust, and virtual private networks (VPN), the assurance of privacy compliance, the bolstering of Google Workspace and AWS security, and the delivery of effective security awareness training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage, enhance, and implement comprehensive information security systems across our corporate and AWS cloud environments.
Monitor our infrastructure to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks, ensuring our data, network, and systems are protected against unauthorized access, breaches, or other security incidents.
Implement security solutions within Google Workspace, JumpCloud, and Zscaler.
Work closely with our development teams to build secure applications within our AWS environment.
Develop procedures to handle security incidents and coordinate responses to security breaches.
Conduct routine audits of our systems and software, identifying any potential weaknesses and implementing improvements as needed.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the latest threats, vulnerabilities, mitigation strategies, and industry best practices.
Deliver security training and awareness programs to educate employees about information security and cybersecurity risks.
Ensure compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations.
Draft, modify, and implement company-wide information security policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:
Demonstrated knowledge of Google Workspace, JumpCloud, and Zscaler security configurations.
Proficient in AWS environment and its associated security controls - Security Hub, Guard Duty, etc.
Familiarity with common security frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.) and relevant laws and regulations.
Strong understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
Ability to handle high-stress situations effectively and respond quickly to security incidents.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security or related roles.
Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or AWS Security.
