The Role
Crescendo is seeking a strategic and execution-driven Director of Revenue Operations to lead the operational heartbeat of our go-to-market engine. This pivotal role will architect the systems, insights, and rhythms that accelerate revenue growth, enhance sales productivity, and align cross-functional teams in support of our enterprise customer base.
As a senior partner to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership, you will build and operationalize a high-performance, data-informed revenue strategy that scales with Crescendo’s ambitious growth trajectory. You will drive transparency, accountability, and precision across pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, and customer lifecycle performance.

What You’ll Do:
Strategic Revenue Enablement
- Own the development and execution of Crescendo’s end-to-end revenue operations strategy—driving alignment, efficiency, and clarity across all GTM functions.
- Partner with executive leadership to establish and operationalize revenue goals, annual planning cycles, and GTM OKRs.
- Build scalable frameworks for pipeline development, account segmentation, territory planning, and performance visibility.
- Design and facilitate executive reporting, business reviews, and operational cadences that enable proactive, data-driven decisions.
- Serve as a trusted partner to Sales and Marketing leadership, ensuring full-funnel visibility and cross-functional cohesion from lead generation through renewal.
- Implement best-in-class tools, attribution models, and analytics to inform GTM strategy and optimize conversion at every stage of the buyer journey.
- Elevate seller productivity through enablement, territory design, quota setting, and compensation strategy.
- Act as a central source of truth on pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and revenue performance.
Customer Lifecycle & Post-Sales Insight
- Support the full customer lifecycle in partnership with Customer Success, Delivery, and Professional Services—aligning operational processes to customer value realization.
- Develop frameworks and metrics to track customer health, project outcomes, services profitability, and expansion potential.
- Enable seamless post-sale handoffs, consistent delivery methodology, and pricing strategies that reflect both value and scale.
- Support AI-managed services go-to-market plays by connecting product delivery models with operational performance insights.
Systems, Tools & Infrastructure
- Lead the selection, deployment, and optimization of key revenue systems including CRM, marketing automation, forecasting tools, and business intelligence platforms.
- Drive data integrity, process automation, and workflow efficiency across the GTM tech stack.
- Establish templates, playbooks, and dashboards that elevate visibility and streamline collaboration across functions.
Forecasting, Analytics & Commercial Intelligence
- Own revenue forecasting, scenario modeling, and pipeline analytics in partnership with Finance and Sales.
- Deliver insights and recommendations that inform strategic planning, resource allocation, and market expansion.
- Translate data into actionable narratives that drive accountability and inform growth levers.
Team Development & Leadership
- Build and mentor a high-performing RevOps team, instilling a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous learning.
- Serve as a champion for Crescendo’s values—fostering collaboration, curiosity, and operational discipline across the GTM org.
- Collaborate with peers across Legal, Product, and Engineering to ensure alignment between customer insights, operational capabilities, and business outcomes.
What We Expect From You:
Experience & Expertise
- 10+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, or GTM leadership—preferably within SaaS or AI-powered technology companies.
- Proven success driving measurable revenue growth through operational strategy, process design, and cross-functional alignment.
- Deep fluency in CRM platforms such as Hubspot, SalesNav, Gong (Record and Engage) are a must. Clay, Octave, any forecasting/data tools are a plus.
- Track record of partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive holistic customer growth and lifecycle performance.
Strategic Mindset & Operational Rigor
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills with an ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Comfortable owning executive-level reporting, revenue modeling, and strategic recommendations in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Adept at balancing long-term scalability with near-term impact.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Experience leading and scaling high-impact teams in a matrixed organization.
- Natural collaborator and communicator, with strong executive presence and the ability to influence across all levels.
- Passion for mentoring talent and elevating operational excellence across the organization.
AI & Market Acumen
- Familiarity with AI-powered product and service models, particularly in regulated sectors (e.g., FinTech, HealthTech, eCommerce).
- Understanding of data governance, digital delivery, and evolving customer expectations in high-stakes industries is a plus.
