what is CRED?
CRED is an exclusive community for India’s most trustworthy and creditworthy individuals, where the members are rewarded for good financial behaviour. here’s what will be in store for you at CRED once you join the team
what will you do?
- be the owner of all payment and treasury relationships for CRED with partners such as ~ payment aggregators like Razorpay, Payu, Pine Labs, Billdesk etc, card & UPI acquiring banks such as HDFC, Axis, ICICI etc & payment orchestrators or enablers such as Juspay and CRED's Treasury relationships where CRED & its entities maintain escrow or current account relationships
- own all payment costs across different CRED businesses, and ensure CRED is able to get the best payment costs in the industry
- leverage deep product understanding and relationships to enable innovative ways to optimise down these costs structurally
- launch new payment solutions at speed, and de-bottleneck operations/implementation challenges when required
- develop deep relationships with stakeholders across levels and functions in these financial institutions in order to deliver value to CRED
- work with CRED’s business & payments product teams on new developments & use cases such as UPI, payouts, collections etc & be updated about the latest innovations & regulations that impacts CRED’s business
- collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders across teams including payments product, different business teams, finance, legal, compliance etc, in order to ensure smooth execution of projects as and when required
- establish the right operational tenets and processes in places along with the ops, finance and business team, to ensure business is scalable and resilient
you should apply if you:
- possess 10+ years of experience in either payment aggregators managing a set of relationships with acquirers or large merchants / heading payment partnerships or payments business with another consumer fintech company
- demonstrate a strong aptitude for understanding various payments products & its PnL in detail
- have a proven track record of possessing excellent relationship management, and negotiation skills
- possess a strong bias for action with a long-term vision
- possess a comprehensive understanding of digital payment products, it will be an added advantage
- have a strong aptitude for organisational agility & flexibility and can achieve impactful outcomes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
