here’s what will be in store for you at CRED once you join as a part of the team.
what will you do:
- monitor daily payment transactions across multiple payment channels to ensure smooth processing
- track key payment processing metrics (e.g., success rates, failure rates, processing times) and flag anomalies
- identify and escalate discrepancies, failed transactions, or delays to relevant stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Banks, or Payment Gateways).collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Risk, Product, Engineering) to resolve escalated payment issues
- liaise with external partners (banks, PSPs, payment processors) for operational issue resolution
- execute payment processes in line with established SOPs and company policies
- analyze payment workflows and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
- resolve customer issues related to payments based on predefined guidelines
- investigate transaction failures, delays, or reversals, RCA senior management escalations
you should apply if you have:
- have experience into payment operations between 2-6 years of experience
- experience identifying inefficiencies and suggesting workflow improvements
- have proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) for analyzing payment data
- have basic SQL skills (manipulate the existing queries)
- understanding of domestic payment networks like UPI, IMPS, BBPS
