We are currently seeking a strategic Sr. Financial Analyst, to play a critical role on Corelight’s finance team. As a strategic Sr. Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in driving Corelight’s financial planning, business analytics, and strategic decision-making across the organization. You will partner closely with senior management and various cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights, identify growth opportunities, maximize value, and optimize company performance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including but not limited to: financial modeling, cohort analysis, variance analysis, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis
  • Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis to assess business performance against forecasts and budgets, identifying key areas of opportunity or risk
  • Partner with key stakeholders and business leaders to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations
  • Analyze sales performance data to track commission and sales incentive plan payouts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management by offering proactive insights into financial performance and key business trends
  • Succinctly distill findings and prepare presentations to be utilized by senior leadership

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in strategic finance, FP&A, private equity, investment banking, or consulting roles
  • Highly proficient in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and SQL; experienced with Adaptive Insights and ERP systems
  • Experience implementing, designing and maintaining KPI dashboards and reporting systems to track performance against targets and communicate insights to stakeholders effectively
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders

The compensation for this position may vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. Depending on the nature and seniority of the role, a percentage of compensation may come in the form of a commission-based or discretionary bonus. Equity and additional benefits will also be awarded.
