About the team
The Procurement Team is a close knit, dedicated team of high impact professionals. Together, the team works to optimize inventory management, supplier relationships, and procurement processes to support CookUnity's mission of empowering chefs to nourish the world.
The role:
We're seeking a full-time Supply Chain Analyst with an entrepreneurial mindset who's ready to take ownership of analyses and projects while growing in a fast-paced startup environment.
You'll manage and analyze the supply chain to help us reach company goals. This role is ideal if you're organized, self-driven, and results-oriented—someone who gets stuff done.

Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels to stay within stock targets and maintain optimal stock levels. Identify stock-outs and reduce surplus based on forecasts, lead times, and safety stock levels. Communicate inventory needs and overstock situations promptly.
- Analyze deviations between Theoretical Inventory and Physical Inventories.
- Generate, track, and manage Purchase Orders with accurate quantities, pricing, and timely delivery. Monitor price increases and communicate them to relevant departments.
- Collaborate with suppliers via email or phone to ensure complete and timely product delivery. Resolve shipping issues, advise on appropriate carriers, manage purchase order changes, and review monthly scorecards. Work through corrective action plans as needed.
- Coordinate with Kitchen Managers to ensure products are received and stored correctly.
- Review, track, reconcile, and approve invoices to confirm they match received products.
- Maintain and improve the supplier base for raw materials by establishing relationships with quality alternative vendors.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of previous experience in a Supply Chain/Operations-related role;
- Bachelor’s degree or about to graduate
in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other related Good analytical skills and intermediate user of Google Sheets/Excel; - Strong problem solving & multi-tasking skills with great attention to detail and aptitude for numbers
- Since our HQ is located in NYC, an excellent level of English is required
