Senior B2B Logistics Manager
CookUnity
About CookUnity:
Food has lost its soul to modern convenience. And with it, it has lost the power to nourish, inspire, and connect us. So in 2018, CookUnity was founded as the first-of-its-kind platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Today, CookUnity delivers 50 million meals a year from the industry’s best chefs to homes all over the country. Fresh. Ready-to-eat. And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul.
Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world.
If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting.
About the Team:
The B2B Operations team is responsible for scaling and delivering CookUnity’s new business verticals, such as Smart Fridge and Cold Meal programs, across corporate and healthcare environments. The team collaborates closely with B2C operations, product, and customer experience to ensure seamless execution, operational reliability, and scalable systems that support growth.
The role:
The Senior B2B Logistics Manager is responsible for designing, operating, and continuously improving CookUnity’s logistics network across its B2B business lines, including corporate clients, healthcare (Medically Tailored Meals), and smart fridge programs.
This role ensures that every B2B program — from clinics and employers, to fridge networks — is supported by a logistics system that is reliable, compliant, scalable, and financially sustainable. The B2B Logistics Manager builds delivery models tailored to each vertical’s unique requirements while maintaining a unified operating framework that can scale nationally leveraging the Cookunity Logistics Network.
This role balances service excellence with unit economics, ensuring that logistics models are proven quickly and optimized for margin as they scale.
Responsibilities:
B2B Logistics Strategy & Network Design
- Design and manage the end-to-end logistics strategy for all B2B business lines (Corporate, Healthcare, Smart Fridge)
- Define delivery models, routing strategies, and cold-chain standards appropriate for each vertical
- Ensure logistics solutions are scalable, repeatable, and aligned with growth plans
Operations, Service Execution & Scalability
- Own day-to-day performance of B2B logistics, including on-time delivery, temperature compliance, and customer experience.
- Ensure service levels meet enterprise and healthcare client expectations.
- Build recovery workflows for missed, delayed, or damaged shipments specific to B2B needs
- Build SOPs, documentation, and playbooks for all B2B logistics workflows
- Ensure processes can scale across new clients, new markets, and new product lines
Carrier, 3PL & Partner Management
- Identify, onboard, and manage a network of 3PLs, regional carriers, and parcel partners
- Negotiate service levels, pricing, and performance standards
- Maintain redundancy and contingency routing to protect client commitments
Financial Performance & Optimization
- Own logistics cost visibility across all B2B programs
- Track cost per delivery, cost per meal, and margin impact by vertical
- Lead the transition from pilot models to optimized, repeatable, and profitable logistics frameworks
- Partner with B2B OPS to ensure pricing, contracts, and delivery models align
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Healthcare Ops, Smart Fridge Ops, and CX to design logistics solutions that support customer needs
- Work with Product and Tech teams to integrate logistics workflows into operational systems.
- Support go-live readiness for new B2B accounts and programs
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations (B2B, healthcare, or food preferred)
- Experience managing 3PLs, carriers, and complex delivery networks
- Strong understanding of cold-chain or service-level-driven logistics
- Financially minded: comfortable with cost modeling, margin trade-offs, and scaling unit economics
- Proven ability to build systems and processes, not just manage daily operations
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred requirements:
- Experience in healthcare, food, or regulated supply chains
- Experience supporting enterprise or B2B clients with SLAs
- Familiarity with distributed networks (fridges, clinics, offices, hubs)
- Experience launching or scaling logistics models in fast-growth environment
- Spanish speaking
