This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and data-driven business intelligence enthusiast to build a data warehouse and visualization toolset from the ground up. This role will personally build imported data and create visualizations, and it will also enable a self-service model for others to develop their visualizations to provide business insights. The Business Intelligence Manager will be part of the Global IT team, and their contributions will be key to increasing operational efficiency by adding structure and consistency to the people, processes, and technology that support Contrast’s overall mission.
This critical role reports to the Director of IT. It requires regular communication and cross-functional collaboration across business operations, sales, marketing, IT, finance, and product teams. It defines data workflows, processes, and resources needed to help each function reach a shared goal - delighting customers and business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analytics And Insights
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of data warehouse implementation, from data aggregation and ETL to consumption and visualization
  • Collaborate with business units to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement analytics visualizations that drive business value
  • Build visualizations to provide business insights and enable others across the business to act in a self-service to build visualizations
  • Data Strategy Development
  • Develop and articulate a holistic data strategy aligning with the organization's business strategy and goals
  • Partner with security, compliance, and data privacy teams to ensure data is properly secured and/or obfuscated and the appropriate RBAC is in place
  • Performance Metrics And KPIs
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the data strategy
  • Establish processes for regular monitoring and reporting on the performance of data initiatives
  • Stakeholder Collaboration And Communication
  • Collaborate with executives, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and strategic objectives
  • Communicate the value of data-driven decision-making across the organization
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding how data can be leveraged to achieve business outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in data science, business analytics, computer science, business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing data strategies in complex organizational environments
  • Detailed understanding of data warehouse implementations, ETL workflows, and visualization tools
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence at a senior level, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and drive results in a dynamic environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

What We Offer
Salary and Other Compensation
This position's standard base pay range is $112,000 - $168,000 annually. This position is also eligible for an equity package subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider several factors: geography, skill set, experience, job scope, and current market data.
