Healthcare is a $4.5 trillion industry with more than $500 billion spent annually on administrative costs, and Commure is at the heart of transforming it. We power over 500,000 clinicians across hundreds of care sites nationwide – more than $10 billion flows through our systems and we support over 100 million patient interactions. With new product launches on the horizon, expansion into additional care segments, and a bold vision to tackle healthcare's most pressing challenges, our ambition is to move from upstart innovator to the industry standard over the next few years.

Commure has achieved over 300% year-over-year growth for the past two years and this is only the beginning. Healthcare's moment for AI-powered transformation is here, and we're building the technology to power it. Come join us in shaping the future of healthcare.

Commure is looking for a Country Head – India to own and scale our India operations. This leader will be accountable for operational excellence, delivery outcomes, team leadership, and transformation, with a strong focus on process improvement.

What you'll do

Own India operations end-to-end

  • Lead overall India operations across functions (e.g., revenue cycle operations, support teams, shared services, and enabling functions as applicable).

  • Own delivery metrics and outcomes: productivity, quality, turnaround time, SLAs, customer impact, and cost efficiency.

  • Build strong operating rhythms: weekly business reviews, KPI dashboards, performance reviews, and escalation management.

Drive process improvement & transformation

  • Identify bottlenecks and redesign workflows to reduce errors, improve throughput, and strengthen controls.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean-style thinking (root cause analysis, SOP modernisation, standardisation).

Data-driven management & systems understanding

  • Use data to drive decisions—ensure metrics are well-defined, trusted, and actionable (single source of truth mindset).

  • Understand backend data flows enough to ask the right questions: source systems → transformations → dashboards → operational action.

  • Partner with analytics/BI/engineering to improve instrumentation, reporting, and operational insights (e.g., Retool dashboards, SQL-based reporting, ERP/CRM/RCM tooling integrations).

Build and lead high-performing teams

  • Lead senior managers and functional leaders; build org design that scales.

  • Set a culture of accountability, ownership, and customer-first execution.

  • Coach leaders to run strong teams: performance management, capability building, hiring, succession planning.

Stakeholder management & cross-functional partnership

  • Serve as the senior India leader to US stakeholders—clear communication on performance, risks, and plans.

  • Work closely with Finance/HR/Legal/Compliance to ensure operational governance, controls, and adherence to local regulations.

  • Own crisis management and client escalations, ensuring fast containment and long-term fixes.

Must-have qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with meaningful leadership in operations (scaled teams, managed senior leaders).

  • Proven experience driving process improvement at scale (reduced cost, improved quality, improved TAT).

  • Strong grasp of data-driven ops: KPI design, dashboards, operational analytics, root cause analysis.

  • Excellent communication and executive presence; ability to influence globally distributed stakeholders.
