At Commure, we build solutions that simplify providers' lives and keep them connected to their patients so they can focus on doing what matters most: providing care.

Our innovative suite of software and hardware – augmented by advanced LLM AI, RTLS, and healthcare workflow automations – boosts efficiency across every domain of healthcare, freeing up healthcare providers to spend more of their time caring for patients. Our growing suite of technologies include staff duress alerting, asset tracking, patient elopement, revenue cycle management, clinical documentation and intake, provider copilots, patient engagement and communication, home health, remote patient monitoring, and more.

Today, we support over 250,000 clinicians across hundreds of care sites around the country. And we’re only just getting started: Healthcare’s watershed moment for AI-powered transformation is here – so join us in creating the technology to power healthcare!

About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with foundational knowledge in SQL, JavaScript, and relational database design to support our Global Operations department in executing core process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will assist in developing data-driven strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and driving growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, collect and interpret data, and build solutions that inform strategic decisions. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a passion for data, a curiosity to explore process inefficiencies, and a solid grasp of analytics and process development fundamentals. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for translating technical insights into actionable business recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, clean, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to uncover trends, outliers, and actionable insights.

  • Design, write, and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and aggregate data from relational databases.

  • Build interactive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as Google Sheets, Excel, Looker Studio, Power BI, or other BI platforms.

  • Apply table design principles (e.g., normalization, indexing, key constraints) when working with datasets or proposing schema changes to ensure scalability and performance.

  • Develop lightweight JavaScript-based logic for BI tools or front-end solutions (e.g., Retool) to support business users with dynamic views or form-driven workflows.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining ETL pipelines or automated data workflows to support regular reporting and analytics needs.

  • Participate in defining, documenting, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across different operational teams.

  • Support process development efforts by identifying inefficiencies, proposing improvements, and working with stakeholders to implement data-informed solutions.

  • Interpret complex data structures and translate findings into clear business recommendations, both visually and verbally.

  • Continuously learn and stay updated on best practices in business intelligence, data engineering, and analytics process automation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field. Candidates with a demonstrated understanding of SQL, JavaScript, and business process analysis are strongly preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or operations analytics.

  • Experience with SQL and at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.).

  • Exposure to JavaScript or scripting languages for light automation tasks is a plus.

  • Previous internship or academic projects involving data-driven decision-making, report building, or process analysis are advantageous.

  • Strong analytical mindset, willingness to learn, and comfort with working in cross-functional teams.

Soft Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Detail-oriented and committed to data accuracy and clarity

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team setting

  • Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to learning and process improvement

  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving work environment

Details:

  • Work Shift: Night (On-site)

  • Weekdays: Monday to Friday
