Part-Time Office Manager
- Location: 133 Castlereagh St. Level 20, Suite 2 Sydney, NSW 2000
- Employment Type: Part-time (2 days/week, Tuesday & Thursday onsite)
- Reports To: Workplace Services
About the Role
- We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Office Manager to support the daily operations of our workplace two days per week. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in maintaining an organized and welcoming office, and can coordinate smoothly with teams and vendors across multiple regions. You’ll be the key onsite contact for facilities, supplies, office experience, and basic IT equipment coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Office Operations & Workplace Experience
- Ship and receive mail, parcels, and computer equipment, including logging equipment and coordinating with couriers.
- Keep the office, conference rooms, and kitchen clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
- Brew coffee and ensure machines and appliances are maintained.
- Order and maintain inventory of office snacks, beverages, and supplies.
- Organize and plan weekly team lunches, including ordering, setup, and clean-up.
- Support local and international team requests related to employee experience planning.
Facilities & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with external vendors, trades, and property management for repairs and building services.
- Liaise with building management for maintenance requests, cleaning, waste/recycling, and access updates.
- Receive, issue, and manage building and suite keycards, ensuring accurate records.
- Assist with office moves, desk setups, equipment relocation, and workspace changes as needed.
Equipment & Inventory Management
- Maintain stock of computers, peripherals, and accessories, including basic inventory tracking.
- On occasion, prepare equipment for new starters (coordination only, no deep technical work).
- Keep simple logs for office assets and supplies.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in office management, facilities coordination, workplace services, or administrative support.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time independently.
- Excellent communication and customer-service mindset.
- Comfortable coordinating vendors and handling light physical tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom and basic spreadsheets.
- Experience with office access systems or couriers is a bonus.
Role Requirements
- Available Tuesday and Thursday each week working in the Office
- Right to work in Australia
- Comfortable working onsite and being the primary in-office contact on assigned days.
