The role you’ll play
This role is your front-row seat to the inner workings of a high-growth payments business. As an FP&A Associate, you’ll be at the intersection of data and decision-making, helping steer strategy across Mindbody’s payments portfolio. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across Finance, Sales, and Business Intelligence to uncover insights, drive planning, and support impactful business cases. Whether you’re analyzing deal margins or forecasting long-term growth, your work will help shape the next chapter of our success.- Drive annual planning and monthly forecasting cycles for the payments business, surfacing trends, gaps, and growth opportunities
- Build and manage pricing models and tools to support North America and International Payments Sales teams during merchant negotiations
- Conduct in-depth margin and rate analyses to guide pricing strategies and optimize profitability
- Own dashboards and reporting on key portfolio metrics, collaborating with Business Intelligence to uncover actionable insights
- Partner with Accounting and BI during month-end close to ensure financial accuracy and resolve anomalies
- Translate data into compelling, story-driven updates for functional and executive leadership
- Support the development of strategic business cases with partners across the company
- Investigate the “why” behind performance shifts, helping teams pivot quickly with informed decisions
The experience you bring
We’re looking for someone who thrives in data, thinks like an operator, and communicates like a strategist. If you’re curious, detail-obsessed, and energized by complexity, you’ll feel right at home here.- 1+ years in strategic finance, management consulting, or investment banking, ideally within a tech or SaaS environment
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, with bonus points for SQL, Looker, or Sigma
- Strong analytical chops—you’re comfortable digging into large datasets and building scenario models
- A keen eye for detail and a high bar for accuracy
- Natural curiosity and a proactive mindset; you chase insights, not just answers
- Ability to simplify complex topics for stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Clear communicator who can turn data into actionable narratives
