About the right team member
As the Sr. B2B Marketing Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in driving success for customers throughout their journey. We’re looking for a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a proven ability to drive complex, often ambiguous projects forward with minimal oversight. You’re someone who thrives in gray areas, can quickly identify what’s needed, and takes initiative to build the path forward. In addition to being highly detail-oriented and analytical, you bring a bias for action and are energized by owning programs end-to-end.
This is an individual contributor role on a growing team (you’ll be #5), and you’ll be empowered to take full ownership of projects while collaborating across Lifecycle, Product Marketing, Creative, Sales, and more.
We’re looking for a candidate with 5–8 years of marketing experience (lifecycle preferred) and the following strengths: being detail-oriented, highly process-centric, collaborative, analytical, and self-driven.
About the role
- Take full ownership of complex, often ambiguous lifecycle marketing projects — from defining communication strategies aligned with business goals to executing and iterating based on data-driven results.
- Execute daily customer communications, including email marketing (via Marketo), in-product notifications (via Pendo), on-site banners, and webinars.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing Operations, Creative, Product Marketing, and Sales to support business goals across the customer journey.
- Develop and deploy segmented, personalized campaigns designed to drive acquisition, engagement, upsell, and retention.
- Use A/B testing and insights to optimize messaging and performance.
- Partner with Marketing Technology and Ops to evolve our automation capabilities and improve operational effectiveness.
- Support content development in partnership with Creative and Product Marketing teams.
- Stay current on lifecycle marketing trends, tools, and tactics — bringing fresh ideas and innovations to the team.
Skills & experience
- Demonstrated business acumen — ability to understand strategic goals and translate them into actionable marketing initiatives
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience with A/B testing
- 5–7+ years of marketing experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS or technology environment preferred
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools (Marketo experience preferred)
- Highly comfortable working independently in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
- Bonus: Experience managing a marketing calendar or communications intake process
