Job Description:
The Cityblock Office Administrator is essential to supporting our internal and external executive-level meeting needs, keeping new Brooklyn office operations running smoothly, and fostering a welcoming and engaging employee culture. Our Office Administrator will be the go-to problem solver, momentum driver, and experience creator in our Brooklyn HQ office.
Responsibilities:
Facility Operations Management
Maintain office space for daily use and respond to employee requests and needs
Manage a tidy and clean office environment, including maintaining orderliness of conference rooms and running dishwashers periodically
Manage desk booking and meeting space booking systems
Facilitate deliveries and incoming mail
Track inventory and maintain an organized office supplies closet
Manage office budget and oversee incremental purchasing for office supplies, office tech accessories, furniture and space improvements
Submit expenses in a timely, precise manner with all receipts
Facilitate and manage existing vendors (e.g., facilities, landlord, security system)
Procure new vendors where needed (e.g., catering, programming, etc.)
Provide office tours and support setup orientation for new hires
Act as go-to resource for general logistical office knowledge
Executive Operations Support
Greet visitors warmly, with special attention paid towards internal/external executives and Board members
Manage and prepare conference rooms for external meetings
Order lunches for external meetings, coordinating their delivery and setup, and establish a system to coordinate cleaning with vendors
Accommodate ad-hoc executive, Board member, and client requests
Provide ad-hoc scheduling support for executive leaders

High school degree

This role is eligible for health insurance, life insurance, retirement benefits, participation in the company’s equity program, paid time off, including vacation and sick leave. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. The expected salary range for this position is:
$30- $34/hr
