Job Description:
Responsibilities
Work as the SME for the clinician licensing process at Cityblock and provide support to the Senior, Credentialing & Licensing Associates as needed
Own the relationship of Licensing support with our external Credentialing & Licensing Vendor and performance manage the vendor to ensure they are meeting contractual SLAs
Develop new processes, workflows, tools, and systems to track clinician licenses across all Cityblock markets
Responsible for continuously monitoring licenses against expiry, and communicating status updates to all stakeholders. You will be solution-oriented and escalate any risks and remediation plans to our Manager, Credentialing & Licensing for support as needed
Create, socialize, and iterate licensing policies for Cityblock providers in partnership Clinical & Market leadership teams and finance. Determine Cityblock coverage policies for net new licensing, on-call program, and virtual hub providers
Facilitate license requests between Cityblock providers and external vendor(s); support Cityblock clinicians as needed during this process
Take the lead in keeping provider license profiles accurate and up-to-date
Support internal and external license audits
Serve as internal and external main point of contact for all licensing related activities
As needed, initiate urgent license requests & support credentialing related function
Work in collaboration with:
Design net new workflows and improve existing workflows for smooth transition of requests between Cityblock teams.
Cross-functional effort with our IT, PeopleOps, and Talent teams.
Will escalate any risks and remediation plans to our Manager, Credentialing & Licensing for support as needed
Skills Required
Experience with Google Suite
Strong knowledge of NCQA credentialing & licensing requirements and certified programs
Create, socialize, and iterate licensing policies for Cityblock providers in partnership Clinical & Market leadership teams and finance. Determine Cityblock coverage policies for net new licensing, on-call program, and virtual hub providers.
Build foundational systems and processes and can create effective workarounds
Competencies
Ability to effectively concierge new providers through the external licensing vendor process
Ability to maintain an organized record of licenses, and other documentation and expiration dates for all providers using scrapy tools (ex. Excel)
Ability to manage the licensing portion of our external vendor - manage communication, performance monitoring, adherence to SLAs, escalation as needed to Manager, C&L
Ability to anticipate gaps in the overall structure/process and proactively implement solutions.
Superb communication and stakeholder management skills. Clear written and verbal communication - independently shares

Job Requirements

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or related field. Advanced degree desirable.

Experience
3+ years of experience working with clinicians and/or experience working in early stage start-up

The expected salary range for this position is:
Current pay range: 34.62 - 38.46 - 42.31 USD Hourly (NY)
$28.28 - $42.31
